Take a break from studying and come play!

If you've been sitting in the library staring at a book so long that your eyes are beginning to cross and you've forgotten the subject you're even supposed to be studying for, take a break and come on over to the fitness centre. Just a half hour of activity to get you moving and let your brain relax could be all you need to decompress and get back to studying with a new sense of purpose and focus.
Your mind and your body work best in unison, so while you're demanding the most out of your mind to make it through this stressful time, don't neglect your body. The hormone and neurotransmitter dump you get from exercising will make it worth your while in the long run!

Best of Luck with Exams!

Yours truly,

Why Choose Group Fitness?

There are muscle bound men, no doubt in sleeveless shirts, performing countless bicep curls mere inches from full length mirrors. Women in spandex outfits that look as if they may have been painted on that morning striding effortlessly on elliptical machines and reading Cosmo simultaneously; and some weirdo off in the back doing something on a large rubber ball that looks like it should be occurring on a stage in Cirque de Soleil. Rather than risk embarrassment you shuffle over to a stationary bike, sit back and begin to peddle while watching Oprah, and barely breaking a sweat, only to leave in less than an hour. Sound familiar? If so then it is time to step beyond your comfort zone and into the supportive and energetic atmosphere that is group fitness.
For half the price of personal training sessions (or here at Seneca King, for FREE) you can reap the benefits of working with a certified trainer, performing a periodized program designed to help you reach your goals and become familiar with the oft misunderstood and intimidating beast that is fitness.
Your time is valuable, so make the most of it with one of our exciting and intense group fitness classes. Simply sign up in the rec office to reserve your spot!
